In the rugged landscapes of eastern Turkey, Ceylan, unjustly accused of murder, becomes entangled in an intricate web of family obligations as the second wife, or ‘Kuma,’ of Karan – the man she loves and who is also the brother of the deceased.

Confronting the challenges of her new role, she desperately seeks to prove her innocence, weaving a tale of pain and passion in hopes of winning her freedom and her husband’s affection. Kuma is a story that unravels family ties, defying the deepest shadows with the power of love and truth.

• The series is produced by Stellar Yapim, the name behind Broken Destiny, Wounded Birds, Canim Annem and led by showrunner Inci Gülen Oarr of the hit Turkish series Elif fame.
• Emre Özmen playing Karan Celikhan is an award-winning actor and has been acclaimed for his extensive work in Turkish films, dramas and theatre, notably in Bir Zamanlar Kibris / Once Upon A Time In Cyprus (2021).
• Aybüke Yilmaz portraying the character of Ceylan Kervancioğlu is known for her lead role in Fedakar (2023).
• Ufuk Kaplan playing the matriarch Kudret Celikhan who is famed for her role in Ask-i-Memnu/Forbidden Love, a melodrama that has earned consistently high ratings on Turkish television.
